Pakistan Golf Federation was mandated to promote and develop the game of Golf in Pakistan. To coordinate and manage the affairs of all the golfers of Pakistan belonging to and registered with the member Organizations and Golf Clubs, which would include male as well as female players of both amateur as well as professional status. Golf is the only game in which Pakistan literally started from scratch. The game was introduced and patronized in the Sub-Continent by the British. After partition a big void was created and the game might have been extinct in Pakistan had it not had been for a few die heart golfers who made enormous effort to keep the game alive.

Mr. Shabbir Iqbal (Islamabad golf club), is Pakistan’s top and seasoned professional golfer. He already has more than 150 titles (Pakistan golf tour), under his belt which is not less than a record for any national golf tour. He’s not only one of the longest hitters but he’s got an overall game that makes him really comfortable while playing and grinding it out and makes him invincible. He has that intangible of when he doesn’t have his best stuff, to still find a way to win. Shabbir has got the knack, which is called resilience … therefore we expect yet … a lot more to come from this legendary champion golfer.

21 years old Nouman Ilyas (Lahore Garrison Greens), is a young experienced Golfer of Pakistan. Mr. Ilyas has won 61st National Amateur Golf Championship of Pakistan 2021-22 held at Peshawar Golf Club. Nouman’s short game and an ability to forget about a bad shot and move on to the next one, were his greatest weapons. Mr. Ilyas has participated in many events in Pakistan. He is one of the youngest golfers of Pakistan in Amateur (Men) who became National Champion. He is a fearless but disciplined golfer, who is looking forward to represent Pakistan as Professional.

Mr. Muhammad Munir of Rawalpindi Golf Club claims the title of DHA Open Golf Championship. He finished 14 under Par.
He is followed by Ahmad Baig With a Score of 11 Under Par.
